Used Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens - Fair

OVERVIEW

The Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens is a Sony E Mount, super telephoto zoom lens, designed to feature Sony's G Series high-resolution throughout the entire zoom range. Its incredible zoom range of 200-600mm can be extended by using an optional 1.4x or 2.0x teleconverter, which can extend the telephoto's reach up to 840mm (f9) or 1200mm (f13), while maintaining its image quality and AF performance. Its innovative optical design features one aspherical element, and five ED glass elements to assist with suppressing common aberrations, as well as to resist flare and ghosting. 

Sony's DDSSM (Direct Drive Supersonic Wave Motor) system is included in the lens design for reliable and fast tracking with speed and precision. Its high positioning accuracy allows for pinpoint autofocus with blazing speeds. Its motor is designed to be quiet enough that it will not disrupt an unpredictable subject (ex: bird).

All of the lenses from the "G Master" series are designed to make sure that outstanding contrast is maintained at high spatial frequencies. Color bleeding is suppressed to provide a clear reproduction, with sharp and fine subject details. Also included, is Sony's Nano AR coating to suppress any unwanted glare, reflections, or ghosting.

The FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 also has the ability to produce an out-of-focus background, or "bokeh", which can be enhanced by the lens' 11-blade aperture ring. The Sony G Master series is able to eliminate the common issue of polygonal shaped, defocused points of light, via its unique design which allows more natural/smoother defocusing to be achieved. 

Sony's high-performance Optical SteadyShot image stabilization is built-in to the FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 in order to create blur-free images, with great sharpness. The lens' SteadyShot function features three settings (MODE 2, MODE 3, 5-axis Image Stabilization). Mode 2 is specially designed for panned shots, while Mode 3 offers an enhanced viewfinder stabilization. 5-axis Stabilization is activated with compatible Sony camera bodies (a9, aR III, a7 III, a7R II, a7S II, a7 II, a6500). Focus Hold buttons are featured in three locations on the lens for easy access. By just pressing one of the focus hold buttons, you can lock your focusing distance. These buttons can also be assigned to different functions in your camera body menu. The FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 features maximum resistance against dust and moisture, making it suitable for outdoor shooting.

An AF/MF Switch is provided on the lens, to allow a quick switch between auto and manual focusing. Linear Response MF is available for fine/responsive manual control. The Focus Range Limiter switch allows for a limited focus range to be selected (3 Settings to Choose From).

A soft carrying lens case is included for transportation of your lens.
