In the photo mode, the camera captures 24 MP images in a maximum resolution of 6000×4000 pixels. The a6400 brings the professional picture profiles from its predecessors, which include S-Log2 and S-Log3 gamma. These picture profiles expand the dynamic range of the image to use LUTs during post-production. You can plug the camera to an HLG-compatible monitor for view the footage in normal colors. Turn on the zebra function to see which part of the image is overexposed. The burst mode has a maximum capture speed of 11 fps with the mechanical shutter and 8 fps with the electronic shutter. You can also shoot time-lapses with an interval duration of 1 to 60 seconds.

Enable the built-in Wi-Fi or use the Near Field Connectivity feature to link this Sony mirrorless camera with your smartphone.
