With the mechanical shutter, you can take photos of fast-moving objects without the rolling shutter effect. The electronic shutter is useful when photographing wildlife.

The Sony a6400 links to your smartphone or tablet with its built-in Wi-Fi and NFC. After connecting the camera to your handheld device, you can transfer images from the a6400 or remote control it via the Sony PlayMemories app. The built-in flash allows you to capture photos in low light.
