Overview
Whether clicking portrait or landscape photos, the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 28mm f/1.4E ED Lens offers consistent performance throughout its focal range. This lens is compatible with Nikon F-mount cameras. The optical construction of the lens involves 14 elements in 11 groups, which include 2 extra low-dispersion elements and 3 aspherical elements to prevent spherical aberrations and chromatic anomalies throughout the zoom range. The nanocrystal and super-integrated coatings help improve the sharpness of images and eliminate ghosting effects and lens flares. Further, the protective fluorine coating keeps elements such as dust and moisture away from the lens. This Nikon lens has a nine-blade electromagnetic diaphragm that provides clear images with a fine bokeh effect. The lens incorporates the Silent Wave Motor that auto-focuses on subjects without making noise. Additionally, this lens comes with a rear focusing system that does not change the physical length of the lens while in use.
