Condition: Excellent
The Nikon D3200 DSLR is designed by keeping beginner-level photographers in mind. This camera has a Nikkor 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens provided with it. The camera is equipped with a 24.2-MP DX-format CMOS sensor that teams up with the EXPEED 3 processor to produce high-resolution images and videos. You can take continuous shots at 4 fps and record 1080p videos at 30 fps. With the 3.0-inch 921k-Dot LCD, the camera lets you compose the scene and preview recorded media. The Multi-CAM 1000 autofocus sensor includes 11 unique AF points to ensure focus accuracy in lighting conditions, from -1 to +19 EV. The camera's EN-EL14 Li-ion battery makes it capture 540 shots per charge.
Optics and Focus
The Nikkor 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens comes with the camera. Its optical design of 11 elements in 8 groups has a single aspherical glass to reduce spherical aberrations. The super integrated coating lessens the effects of ghosting and flare. With the silent wave AF motor, the lens ensures quiet and accurate autofocus. The camera utilizes its Multi-CAM 1000 autofocus sensor that has 11 distinct AF points for prompt focus response in varied lighting conditions, from -1 to +19 EV. You can choose the exposure metering method from the 3D color matrix, center-weighted average, and spot metering. The camera has an electronic shutter with a maximum speed of 1/4000th of a second.
Sensor and Screen
The Nikon D3200 works on a 24.2-MP DX-format CMOS sensor that fine tonal gradations and enhanced low-light sensitivity. The 3.0-inch rear LCD screen offers a 921k-dot resolution, 170° diagonal viewing angle, and 100% screen coverage. Also, the brightness adjustment function of the LCD makes you read it comfortably whether working low or bright lighting. The pentamirror viewfinder has 0.85x magnification and adjustable diopter of -1.7 to +0.5 m. You get 95% and 100% screen coverage when using the viewfinder and LCD respectively.
Image and Video
The Nikon D3200 captures JPEG and RAW images at a maximum resolution of 6016x4000 pixels. You can record Full HD 1080p videos in the MOV format at a frame rate of 30 fps. Burst shooting is also possible at a continuous rate of up to 4 fps. To support the Full HD video recording and continuous shooting, the EXPEED 3 image processor is included into the camera design. The auto scene selector chooses the correct setting for the camera according to the lighting conditions. There are six each scene modes and picture control settings in the camera that makes you decide the final look of the image.
Other Features
The D3200 has a pop-up flash that can be adjusted to a compensation range of -3 EV to +1 EV in 1/3 EV steps. Also, the hot shoe contact allows you to mount an external flash on the camera. The Mini HDMI C port enables you to connect the camera to an HDTV for viewing the captured content on the television. With the self-timer, the camera's shutter release can be triggered after 2, 5, 10, and 20 seconds. The camera offers compatibility with SD, SDHC, or SDXC memory cards.
