It is equipped with a 16.2 MP FX-Format CMOS sensor that works in tandem with the EXPEED 4 image processor. This is essential for capturing images with an outstanding dynamic range, color accuracy, sharp details, and low-light sensitivity of up to ISO 409,600. The Multi-CAM 3500FX 51-Point autofocus and 3D tracking functions for focusing on moving subjects with immense accuracy and speed. Use the 1000 Base-T Gigabit Wired LAN support for transferring still images and movies in order to expedite an entire post-production task seamlessly.

Optics and Focus

The Nikon D4S is designed to be used with a large variety of Nikon F-mount lenses that are capable of providing brilliant focal lengths and apertures. The shutter speed ranges from 30 seconds to 1/8000th of a second, while the ISO sensitivity ranges from 50 to 409600. The Multi-CAM 3500FX 51-Point autofocus and 3D tracking functions for focusing on moving subjects with immense accuracy and speed. The EXPEED 4 image processor is capable of processing images with a blend of speed and quality. Shoot images continuously at a maximum burst rate of 11 fps. Use the enhanced interval timer for recording up to 9,999 frames with massive intervals that last as long as one week.
