The Nikon ML-3 Modulite Remote Infrared Set for the Nikon 10-pin Connector enables remote control operation of dual separate channels through an infrared LED beam that facilitates automatic camera usage from a distance up to 8 m. It's equipped with an automatic triggering and delayed shutter release, plus single and continuous shooting facilities. The ML-3 also has the ability to fire the camera remotely whenever a subject comes between the receiver and transmitter, for instance, in wildlife or surveillance photography.
