Overview
Offering versatile, super telephoto, zoom focal lengths, the Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS Contemporary Lens for Canon is designed for EF-mount cameras. It has an aperture setting ranging from f/5 to f/22, and is made of three SLD and one FLD elements to ensure minimal aberrations. The lens boasts of a hypersonic motor that provides a quick and quiet autofocus. An accelerometer in the optical stabilizer provides improved performance when panning either horizontally or vertically, making wildlife and motion photography easier. A zoom lock switch on the barrel of the lens allows you to lock the zoom on any focal length, and it even features a manual focus override for greater control. The lens is compatible with a Sigma USB dock, and you can connect it to the dock to receive firmware updates or make minute and precise calibrations.
