The Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2 Autofocus Lens for Sony Full Frame E-Mount adds contemporary functionality to the Distagon concept. It is specially designed for Sony’s full frame, E-mount, mirrorless cameras. One of the salient features is the OLED display, which highlights focus distance and depth of field to recognize focusing parameters quickly. The autofocus capability of the lens is further enhanced by linear motors that ensure swift, smooth performance. Four double-sided aspherical elements in a floating elements structure help to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions throughout the frame. It even enhances the edge-to-edge sharpness and illumination of the image. The optical surface of the lens features an anti-reflective coating that reduces flaring and ghosting. The coating helps increase contrast and maintains color neutrality. The lens has an 82-degree angle of view and a 7.9-inch minimum focusing distance that produces create perspectives and unique close-ups. It is ideal architectural, landscape, and interior photography.
