OVERVIEW
Designed to be used with all full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, the Zeiss Batis 18 mm f/2.8 AF lens is a versatile accessory that is characterized by its unique physical attributes and an advanced optical design. It features two aspherical elements and five elements that are made from special glass for reducing chromatic and spherical aberrations significantly for improved clarity, resolution, and sharpness. The Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings applied to the surface of each lens minimizes reflections to provide contrast, image clarity, and color fidelity. The OLED display on the top of the lens displays the focal plane’s distance from the camera, along with the depth of field range. Also, the dust and weatherproof construction enable the lens to be used even in inclement shooting conditions.
