Compact, lightweight, and high on speed, the Vivitar 28 MM F/2.8 FD Mount is an indispensable equipment for your Canon SLR camera. It is constructed with seven elements in seven groups, and features a five-blade aperture diaphragm for producing a smooth background bokeh in images. Since the optical view in this lens is purely of the wide-angle type, there is no question of distortions in images, and spherical aberrations are completely rectified. The zoom of the lens offers a 0.13x magnification rating for bringing subjects closer to your viewing field. Moreover, the lens eliminates flares, color-fringing, and ghosting, which means you can conveniently shoot in unique environments without much problem.
