The Canon AT-1 SLR camera with 28mm f/2.8 SC FD lens is best suited for simple point-and-shoot photography. This camera can be used with lenses having an FD bayonet mount. The camera has a manual exposure with a CdS cell TTL full-aperture metering. It has a maximum ISO metering of 3200 and shutter speed up to 1/1000th of a second. For focusing, the camera uses both fixed split-image and microprism screens. The manual focusing system can be utilized along with a Depth-of-Field preview button. A dedicated hot shoe and German socket are incorporated into the camera for fixing an external flash. Additional features in the camera include a self-timer, battery check, and bulb for time exposure.
