To perform manual focus, slide the focus ring back, and for autofocus, enable the ring to rest in the forward position. The GMR magnetic precision sensor combines with the Silent Drive-Module to provide a fast and accurate autofocus that is silent. This lens is made from ultra-low dispersion glass and aspherical lens elements for reducing distortions and aberrations to get sharply rendered images throughout the entire zoom range.
