OVERVIEW
Tokina's 12-28mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro DX Lens for Nikon is a wide-angle to standard-length zoom lens with an f/4.0 maximum aperture. It is designed to work with Nikon DX cameras and has a 35mm focal length equivalent of 18-42mm. This tiny lens has a one-touch AF/MF clutch function to convert between auto and manual focus; for manual focus, slide the focus ring back, and for autofocus, leave the ring in the forward position. A newly built GMR (magnetic precision) AF sensor is positioned near the AF motor and enables quick and precise AF. Because of the lens' SD-M (Silent Drive-Module), autofocus reacts smoothly and quietly, which is perfect while shooting HD video.
