The super multi-layer coating addresses issues of ghosting and lens flares and enhances contrast. This lens is equipped with a Hyper Sonic AF motor for quick and silent autofocusing. The nine-blade diaphragm provides a smooth bokeh effect on images. Thanks to the Optical Stabilizer, camera shakes are reduced, ensuring fluid pan and tilt movements when shooting handheld. The lens body is made of a composite material and has a brass bayonet mount.
