This prime lens uses 10 optical elements in 6 groups that have two aspherical and a single SLD element. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces unwanted reflections to provide a well-saturated image. Thanks to the stepping AF motor, you can acquire focus on an object while remaining silent. The maximum aperture of f/1.4 allows working in low light and provide control over the focus to get the desired depth of field. Also, the nine rounded diaphragm blades create smooth bokeh quality. The lens has a brass mount that withstands daily wear, while the rubber sealing prevents dust and water from entering inside.
