Condition: Excellent
The Panasonic G85 Body Only Mirrorless Camera is designed to provide high color fidelity and accuracy in images and videos. This camera is ideal for lenses with a micro four thirds mount and comes with a 16 MP MOS sensor that provides an ISO range of 200–25600. With the capability of recording 4K videos, the camera offers crisp and clear imagery at 30 fps. The camera comes with a Depth-from-Defocus AF technology and a dual image stabilization. The silent mode in the camera cuts out sounds created by the internal mechanism. The camera includes other features such as a pop-up flash and WiFi.
Optics and Focus
The Panasonic G85 features Depth-from-Defocus (DFD) technology that determines the distance between the subject and the lens to determine the suitable focus. This AF system is based on the contrast-detection system that allows you to get optimum focusing results in both video and photo modes. The camera also employs Dual Image Stabilization that is a combination of 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization and lens-based image stabilization. It ensures reduction in camera shakes when shooting with high-focal-length Lumix telephoto lenses. The camera has a maximum ISO of 25600 that makes it easy to shoot pictures in various lighting conditions. With a high shutter speed of 1/16000th of a second, the camera can click photos of moving objects efficiently.
Sensor and Screen
The Panasonic G85 camera is equipped with a 16 MP MOS sensor that generates high-resolution images in both bright and low light. Additionally, the lack of a low-pass filter helps in bringing sharpness in the captured pictures. This camera sports a 3.0-inch touchscreen LCD that offers a resolution of 1.04 million dots and can swivel. It allows you to work with the camera from any angle. Also, the camera has an electronic viewfinder with a 0.74× magnification and a diopter adjustment range of -4 to +4 m. Both the LCD and electronic viewfinder provide a 100% screen coverage.
Image and Video
This Panasonic camera records videos in ultra-high definition 4K quality at 30 fps and 1080p full HD videos at 60 fps. Utilizing its 4K capabilities, the camera provides three 4K photo modes viz., burst, pre-burst, and burst (S/S). There are different photo styles and creative-control modes as well for a unique look in the captured photographs.
Other Features
The Panasonic G85 Body Only Mirrorless Camera has built-in WiFi with which you can share images and videos with other devices. In addition, the camera can be remotely operated through a smartphone. Although a pop-up flash is incorporated into the design of the camera, a hot shoe facilitates fixing an external flash. You may connect an external microphone with the provided 1/8-inch audio port. The camera runs on a 1200 mAh Li-ion battery that allows you to click 330 pictures while using the rear LCD and 800 shots with the power-saver LVF mode. This camera has a sturdy construction and sealed edges, which resists dust and water, making it suitable for use in adverse weather conditions.
