OVERVIEW
Get the perfect dramatic close-up with the Sigma 50–100mm T2 High-Speed Zoom Lens. You use the lens with Canon-EF cine cameras sporting a Super 35mm-size sensor. It gives complete command over the over the focus, zoom, and iris where dedicated control rings are provided for each of them. Also, the ergonomic placement of the rings ensure hassle-free working with the lens. All the scales are marked in feet. The focus and zoom rings have a respective rotating range of up to 180° and 160°. The clickless iris ring ensures a smooth functionality. A dampener is incorporated in each ring, which lessens the metallic noise when the ring hits the end. The 9-blade diaphragm underlines the importance of the foreground subject by creating pleasing bokeh in the background. With the T-stop value of 2, the lens supports shooting at night time or in the dark. The cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears are compatible with different professional film accessories such as a follow focus unit. With 95mm front diameter, you can add different matte boxes to the lens. The front mounting thread accepts 82mm circular filters. This lens has an all-metal body with dust- and splash-proof sealing to withstand rough treatment.
