The Nikon NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 S Lens is a short-telephoto prime lens, designed for FX-format Z-mount mirrorless cameras. The NIKKOR Z 85mm features a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture, which offers a suitable speed for working in difficult lighting situations. The lens' design features two extra-low dispersion elements, to provide accurate color rendering, as well as greater clarity, in your images. The extra-low dispersion elements also reduce color fringing & chromatic aberrations. A nano crystal coating, as well as a super integrated coating, is applied to lens elements to help minimize internal & surface reflecions to reduce flare & ghosting.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.8 S Lens also features a Multi-Focus System, which features two separate Autofocus drive units, that are both synchronized to deliver fast & accurate focusing performance. The Multi-focus system also uses stepping motors to provide a smooth & quiet focusing performance, which can benefit video applications. Full-time manual focus override is available to suit both still & video needs, while an internal focusing design is also featured to provide faster focusing speeds.
