It features 3 extra-low-dispersion glass elements, used in the optical construction of the lens, that reduce chromatic aberrations and offer better clarity and color neutrality. The Nano Crystal Coat applied on the lens reduces surface and internal reflections, thereby minimizing lens flare and ghosting. For added protection to the optical system, this lens comes with a fluorine coating on exposed elements. The 9-blade diaphragm helps create a bokeh effect. Lastly, the Silent Wave Motor autofocus mechanism offers an instant, silent autofocus that is perfect for capturing fast-moving subjects.
