OVERVIEW
The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2 L USM Lens is a short-telephoto lens with a bright f/1.2 maximum aperture, which allows it to provide extremely high-quality images. Its bright aperture works together with its advanced optical design to produce well-corrected images. This lens is designed to excel in difficult lighting conditions, & works well when working with shallow depth of field & selective focus techniques. Its optical design features a "Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics" element, as well as one ultra-low dispersion element, & one aspherical element, which work together to nearly eliminate color fringing & chromatic aberrations for color accuracy & extreme clarity. These elements also work together to control other types of aberrations & distortion, providing you with high-resolution images. An "Air Sphere" coating is applied to suppress ghosting & flaring, which creates high contrast & color fidelity.
Also featured is a ring-type Ultrasonic Motor AF System, which provides near-silent/fast autofocus, as well as full-time manual focus override. A "Control Ring" is also featured for control over exposure settings (from the lens itself).
