OVERVIEW

The RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens combines excellent optics and high performance, providing an ultra-wide angle of view in a compact, portable package, perfect for EOS R-Mount cameras with an APS-C sensor. The optical performance is highlighted by two Aspheric elements, and one Ultra-low Dispersion glass element.  The RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ delivers reliable, speedy and quiet wide-angle performance, making it an ideal lens for video and still creators.

Ultra-Wide-Angle Zoom

The RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens’ wide-angle coverage (35mm equivalent of approx. 22-48mm)  picks up right where you need it for getting everything you want into your scene, and then zoom-in for intimate product close ups. This zoom range is also convenient for shooting on-the-go, and in tight spaces.

The Power to Zoom

The RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ lens features a Power Zoom function.  This feature allows the user to twist the lens barrel left or right to initiate a multi-speed (customizable) powered zoom for smooth and professional looking results.  This lens is able to be used with the built-in camera zoom lever on certain EOS camera models.

Outstanding Image Quality

The RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ features 1 UD element, and 2 aspherical lenses which achieves high image quality throughout the image from center to the edges while maintaining compactness. Even at its widest zoom setting, both optical and digital corrections combine to minimize any risk of darkening at the edges or bending of straight lines in a scene.

Get Up Close

Capture subjects in large detail with a maximum magnification of 0.38x (focusing down to 5.9 inches).  This enables richly expressive close-up shots using the wide angle of view and bokeh an ultra-wide-angle lens can provide.

Optical Image Stabilization — Up to 5.0 stops of Shake Correction

To shoot with less blur even without a tripod handy, the RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ features built-in Optical Image Stabilization, providing up to 5.0 stops1 of shake reduction even for night shots. When paired with an EOS R-mount camera that has In-Body Image Stabilization (IBIS), the Coordinated IS provides an IS effect of 7.5 at the center, and stops and 5.5 stops in the corners 

High-speed, Smooth and Quiet Autofocus

The lens features a leadscrew-type STM focus drive system which provides smooth and natural AF.  This is especially beneficial to video users because of its combination of quiet operation and outstanding smoothness of focus changes during actual recording.

Compact and Lightweight

At approximately 6.3 ounces (181g), the RF-S14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ is extremely lightweight and compact, especially for a lens with a power zooming function built-in!
