Overview
The Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 Autofocus Lens for Sony Full Frame E-Mount is a portrait-length, short telephoto lens. It features a swift f/1.8 maximum aperture to provide greater focus control and excellent low-light performance. It has an OLED display that highlights focus distance and depth of field to recognize the focusing parameters of the scene. Featuring a Sonar concept with a floating elements structure, the lens is quite adept at eliminating chromatic aberrations throughout the frame. The optical surface features an anti-reflective coating that minimizes ghosting and flares to ensure color accuracy and enhanced contrast. To top it all off, it boasts of an optical image stabilization motor that counteracts camera shakes. It helps to eliminate motion blurs and make photography at slower shutter speeds an easy task.
