Overview

The Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF Lens enters the market with the inclusion of special optics that the brand is renowned for over the years. Its optical construction uses 9 elements in 8 groups. There are three each of special glass and aspherical elements in the optical design to correct distortions at the edges and maintain the overall color neutrality. A composite element containing qualities of both aspherical and special glass is incorporated to provide further elimination of various aberrations.
