Overview
THIS IS A USED ITEM
IMAGES ARE FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY
The Panasonic Lumix GH4 is a mirrorless digital camera that offers DCI and UHD 4K shooting along with 30 fps continuous shooting. This camera can be used with Micro Four Thirds lenses. Its 16.05 MP Digital Live MOS sensor and quad-core Venus Engine image processor work together. The camera features the 49-area autofocus system for bringing the desired subject into focus while blurring the rest. This Panasonic camera has an OLED viewfinder as well as a 3.2-inch OLED touchscreen for intuitive control and image composition. You can send photos to smartphones with the built-in Wi-Fi or control the camera wirelessly with the NFC function. The magnesium-alloy body is sealed to protect the internal parts from dust and moisture.
Optics and Focus
The Panasonic Lumix GH4 accepts Micro Four Thirds mount lenses. You may set the metering method to center-weighted average, multiple, or spot metering. The camera offers fast autofocus with its Advanced Depth from Defocus technology that determines the distance between the subject and lens in 0.07 seconds. There are 49 AF points in the system for deciding which part of the image to keep in focus. You may also use focus peaking function to get accurate results during manual operation. The camera offers a maximum ISO sensitivity of 25600. For image capture, the shutter can be increased to 1/8000th of a second.
Sensor and Screen
The Panasonic Lumix GH4 is built around a 16.05 MP Digital Live MOS sensor that renders photos and videos with vibrant colors. Also, its fast readout speed reduces the rolling shutter effect when shooting in low light with a fast shutter. The 3.2-inch OLED monitor offers 1036K-dot resolution live view, while OLED viewfinder gives 2359K-dot resolution view of the shot. Both the rear monitor and viewfinder provide 100% coverage and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. The eye sensor in the viewfinder automatically activates it whenever you look through the EVF.
Image and Video
The Panasonic Lumix GH4 mirrorless digital camera records 4K in both UHD and DCI resolution standards at 30 and 24 fps, respectively. You obtain a maximum frame rate up to 60 fps for 1080p video recording. As for the photo mode, the camera produces pictures at the highest resolution of 4608×3456 pixels. The in-camera RAW development makes it easy to adjust the look of the image within the camera. There are different photo styles and creative-control modes in the Panasonic GH4 that bring uniqueness in each of your photos. The CINELIKE D and CINELIKE V gamma modes give a cinematic look to your videos. Use the zebra pattern to identify overexposed parts in the image. The color bars help you to adjust the color tone of the scene.
Other Features
This Panasonic mirrorless camera comes with built-in Wi-Fi that allows you to transfer images to smartphones and tablets. Also, the NFC feature synchronizes the camera with your handheld device for remote operations. The Panasonic Lumix GH4 has a silent mode that enables the electronic shutter and suppresses the AD assist lamp and flash to remain quiet during image capture. This durable camera has a magnesium-alloy chassis with splash- and dust-proof sealing to protect the internal parts from environmental elements. The camera runs on an 1860 mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery pack.
