Can I use a Canon FD-mount Kiron 28-210mm lens on a Panasonic GH4?

I have a Panasonic GH4 and want to use an older Kiron 28-210mm lens that my father used on a Canon AV-1. I believe the lens is Canon FD mount. Is there an adapter that will let me mount and use this lens on the GH4, and are there any limitations I should expect?

Yes. The GH4 uses the Micro Four Thirds mount, and Canon FD is a legacy manual-focus SLR mount, so a simple mechanical Canon FD-to-Micro Four Thirds adapter is the usual solution.
What to expect:
- Focus will be manual only.
- Aperture will be manual only.
- Autofocus and electronic communication will not work.
- On the GH4’s Micro Four Thirds sensor, the field of view will be narrower than on 35mm film, so the lens will behave like roughly a 56-420mm equivalent in framing.
Before buying, confirm the exact mount on the Kiron lens. Many older third-party lenses were made in multiple mounts, and some used interchangeable mounts. If it is truly Canon FD, look for a Canon FD to Micro Four Thirds adapter.
