I have a Nikon D3200 and would like to use my Sigma Aspherical IF 28-300mm lens that currently fits a Pentax MZ-30 (Pentax K mount). Is there an adapter that will let this lens work on my Nikon DSLR, and what limitations should I expect?

The answer is yes, but you might not be happy with the results. You can use an adapter like this Fotodiox K-mount to Nikon adapter, but there are several drawbacks.
- No autofocus
- No metering
- Lowered image quality, since the adapter contains a glass element
Overall, you are probably better off buying a new lens.

Yes, but it’s usually not a very good solution. Pentax K lenses can be adapted to Nikon F cameras only with an adapter that includes an optical correction element, because Nikon F has a longer flange distance than Pentax K. Without that correction, you won’t be able to focus to infinity.
The trade-offs are significant:
- autofocus will not work
- metering may not work or may be limited
- image quality can be reduced because of the extra glass in the adapter
So while it can be done, the lens will not behave like a native Nikon lens, and the results may be disappointing. In most cases, you’re better off buying a Nikon-compatible lens for the D3200.
