The optical design of this Sigma teleconverter has 6 elements in 5 groups. Also, a multi-layer coating is applied to minimize flare and ghosting when working in bright lighting. The light loss is restricted to 1 stop for maintaining the actual image quality. This Sigma teleconverter offers full communication between the lens and camera to use the autofocus and auto exposure functions.
