The Fujifilm X-T20 Mirrorless Digital Camera offers improved low-light performance along with 4K video recording and 14 fps continuous shooting. This mirrorless digital camera accepts Fujifilm X mount lenses. The 24.3 MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and the X-Processor Pro work together to provide vibrant imagery. Thanks to the 91-point autofocus system, the camera offers an accurate focus for a wide range of lighting conditions along with quick response for moving objects. The 3.0-inch tilting LCD touchscreen gives a 1.04m-dot resolution view of the scene. You can also look through the 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder for composing the shot. The hot shoe allows attachment of an external flash unit. With the built-in Wi-Fi, you can send images to smartphones or tablets or remotely control the camera.

Optics and Focus

The Fujifilm X-T20 camera fits X-series compatible lenses. For the focusing work, the camera employs the 91-point AF system that uses both phase and contrast detection to ensure a high-degree of precision. It covers 50% of the horizontal area and 75% of the vertical area with phase-detection points for facilitating image or video capture of a moving subject. You can adjust the native ISO range from 200–12800 and extended it to 100–51200. The mechanical shutter, which has a maximum speed of 1/4000th of a second, makes the camera take clear shots of a fast-moving object without any distortion. You can use the electronic shutter at a maximum limit of 1/32000th of a second to take pictures without creating any sound.

Sensor and Screen

The 24.3 MP APS-C-size X-Trans CMOS III sensor enhances image sharpness and clarity as well as reduces moiré and aliasing. You can compose the shot by using the 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder with 54.54 fps refresh rate. The 3-inch 1.04m-dot LCD touchscreen can be tilted to support low or high angle shooting. You can adjust the eyepiece diopter from −4 to +2m. You obtain 100% frame coverage with both the viewfinder and LCD.

Image and Video

The Fujifilm X-T20 offers 4K video recording at 30 fps and 14-bit still shots with a maximum resolution of 6000×4000 dpi. For image capture, you can choose either JPEG or RAW format. The camera can also take continuous shots at 14 fps. The X-Processor Pro supports both video recording and burst shooting mode. It also enhances the low-light performance of the camera. The interval timer allows you to record time-lapse sequences up to 24 hours. The camera features film simulation modes that make you give the look of classic Fujifilm rolls such as Velvia, Provia, and Astia to your captured images or videos. This camera also includes a 180° panorama mode as well as eight advance filters.

Other Features

Send images to your smartphone or control the camera remotely by using the Wi-Fi connectivity. The camera has a built-in flash with a guide number of 16.4 feet at ISO 100. The camera offers flash synchronization with the shutter speed at 1/180th of a second for both built-in and hot-shoe-mounted strobes. The camera functions on an NP-W126S rechargeable Li-ion battery pack.
