Overview

The Sigma 18–35mm T2 Fully Luminous High-Speed Zoom Lens utilizes the wide dynamic range offered by an ARRI PL cinema camera. The lens provides full control over the focus, zoom, and iris to let you decide the final look of the shot. These control rings are ergonomically placed for offering tactile control over the lens parameters. Moreover, the scale markings in meters are printed in luminous paint for making them easy to refer in dim light. The focus and zoom rings have 180° and 160° rotation angles, respectively. With the clickless iris ring, you can adjust the aperture while shooting a scene. Each of these rings has a built-in dampener that absorbs the metallic noise occurring at the end. The 9-blade diaphragm adds to the cinematic quality by creating a pleasant bokeh effect. You can open the aperture up to the T 2 for working in low light. The cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears allow you to use different accessories like the follow focus unit with the lens. Various matte boxes can be attached to the lens' 95mm front diameter. The front thread fits 82mm circular filters. Designed to withstand rough treatment, the lens boasts a metal construction with dust- and splash-resistant sealing.
