Its Optical Image Stabilizer compensates for large, slow subjects, as well as small & fast movement, making it easy to shoot clear shots (even in low-lit situations, such as nighttime or indoors). Its design incorporates an inner focus drive system & stepping motor, making it more than capable of smooth & silent operation. This lens is also compatible with sensor drives that max. at 240 fps to take maximum advantage of digital cameras with high-speed AF. The 14-140mm LUMIX G Vario is comprised of 14 elements in 12 groups, featuring three aspherical lenses & two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses to provide dramatic downsizing, with reduced distortion & chromatic aberration. The lens is built with an extremely reliable metal mount & features multi-coated lens elements to minimize ghosting and flaring. Its seven-blade aperture diaphragm produces a smooth, out-of-focus effect.
