Designed for temporary use, the Ilford HP5 Plus Single Use Camera with Built-In Flash - 27 Exposures is the perfect companion for everyone. It is readily loaded with ISO 400/27º HP5 Plus film, which is a medium-contrast, wide-latitude, black-and-white film roll. Like other similar films, this one too can be processed with regular black-and-white chemicals. The solid plastic housing of this camera makes it durable. Also, the built-in flash makes it convenient to shoot pictures in the dark, while the large viewfinder offers immense clarity for viewing the scenes clearly before taking photographs. Showing the remaining number of shots in the film roll is the camera’s frame counter. Finally, the safety interlocks prevent blank frames and double exposures.
Optics and Focus
The HP5 Plus from Ilford has an inbuilt lens that offers an aperture of f/9.5 and a focal length of 30 mm. The shutter operates at its highest speed of 1/100th of a second. Since the camera is focus-free, you can take sharp photographs at a minimum distance of 1 m.
Sensor and Screen
The large viewfinder on the Ilford HP5 Plus makes it absolutely convenient to analyze scenes clearly before taking pictures.
Image and Video
The Ilford HP5 Plus Single Use Camera with Built-In Flash is equipped with the proprietary Ilford HP5 Plus ISO 400/27º 35 mm film roll, which enables you to take a maximum of 27 exposures before it runs out. The film roll is wound out of the cassette and wound back whenever each photograph is taken. Moreover, the safety interlocks prevent double exposures and blank frames. The film advance lever allows you to keep moving the film until you have no more exposures left in the roll. Use the frame counter for keeping track of the number of shots used and remaining. Just like conventional black-and-white films, this film can be processed with ordinary black-and-white chemicals.
The HP5 Plus’s inbuilt flash, which is effective up to 3 m, gives you the freedom to take bright pictures with ease, even in poorly lit areas. Making the body of this single-use camera sturdy is its solid plastic housing. However, due to high voltage, it is highly recommended to refrain from opening the camera.
