OVERVIEW
Classic design and compact, lightweight body inherited from the popular X-T30 series
Newly equipped with the latest processor and Film Simulation dial for enhanced photographic enjoyment
The X-T30 III is the latest model in the X Series of mirrorless digital cameras. This series is renowned for its compact, lightweight bodies and superior image quality, achieved through Fujifilm’s proprietary color reproduction technology.
The X-T30 III features a compact, lightweight body with a weight of 378g, and a classic center viewfinder style design, just like the previous model, FUJIFILM X-T30 II. It is equipped with a back-illuminated 26.1MP X-Trans™ CMOS 4 sensor and a high-speed image processing engine, X-Processor 5. Compared to the previous model, it achieves approximately twice the processing speed and adopts the latest subject detection AF, allowing users to enjoy high image quality and comfortable shooting.
The camera is also equipped with the Film Simulation dial, which has been well received in models such as FUJIFILM X-T50 and FUJIFILM X-M5. Users can intuitively switch between 20 Film Simulation modes, including “REALA ACE” with faithful color reproduction and “NOSTALGIC Neg.” with high saturation and soft gradation. The dial has three positions, FS1 to FS3, where users can register their own original “FS recipes” with preferred image quality settings for diverse photographic expression.
Popular features from previous models, such as the pop-up flash and the “AUTO” shooting mode switch lever for easy shooting, are retained for comfortable operation. The X-T30 III newly supports 6.2K/30P video recording, greatly expanding creative possibilities from still images to video.
The X-T30 III is designed to deliver the joy of photography to a wide range of users, from those using a digital camera for the first time to those who want to enjoy full-scale shooting, through its comfortable operability, intuitive shooting experience, and refined design.
Achieving reliable autofocus and diverse imaging capabilities with the latest image processing engine
Equipped with a back-illuminated 26.1MP X-Trans™ CMOS 4 sensor and the latest high-speed image processing engine, X-Processor 5, the camera achieves reduced power consumption and delivers up to 425 frames per charge.
The latest subject detection AF is adopted. In addition to face and eye AF, the camera automatically recognizes and tracks a wide variety of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and drones. This allows photographers to focus on composition and timing, enjoying comfortable shooting.
Supporting internal SD card recording at 6.2K/30P in 4:2:2 10-bit, the camera also enables video recording in 4K/60P and high frame rate recording at 1080/240P.Furthermore, it features powerful electronic image stabilization that effectively reduces not only subtle hand shake but also larger motion, such as when shooting video while walking.
Compact, lightweight design for everyday portability, and Film Simulation dial for enhanced joy of photography
Achieves the same size (width 118.4mm x height 82.8mm x depth 46.8mm) and weight (378g) as the previous model, X-T30 II. The classic center viewfinder style and compact, lightweight design inherited from the “X-T” series make it a camera you’ll want to carry every day.
Adopts 20 Film Simulation modes, including “REALA ACE” and “NOSTALGIC Neg.” The Film Simulation dial is placed on the top left of the camera, allowing intuitive selection according to subject and scene. Fujifilm’s unique color reproduction technology, which digitally recreates the tones and contrast of photographic film, can be easily enjoyed even by those using a digital camera for the first time.
The Film Simulation dial features three positions, FS1 to FS3, where users can individually register any of the 20 Film Simulation modes and image quality settings as their own “FS recipes.” Depending on the scene or subject, users can quickly recall their FS recipes with a simple dial operation and start shooting.
Comfortable shooting experience with excellent operability
The camera is equipped with an Auto Mode Selector lever on the top panel, allowing instant switching to AUTO mode. In AUTO mode, the camera automatically detects the scene and selects the optimal shooting settings, allowing users to enjoy easy shooting without complicated adjustments.
A pop-up flash integrated with the viewfinder is built into the top panel. The camera automatically adjusts the light output, making it effective for portrait photography in low light or backlit conditions.
The classic center viewfinder style places the viewfinder directly above the lens axis, allowing users to capture subjects head-on through the finder. By looking through the viewfinder, photographers can focus more on the subject and its background while shooting.
The camera features a 1.62-million-dot tilting touchscreen LCD monitor. This enables comfortable shooting while checking composition from high or low angles, ideal for travel photos and landscape snapshots.
