OVERVIEW
The CR-N700 4K PTZ camera is a professional 4K PTZ camera aimed at high-end Broadcast, TV Studios and Live Events. With outstanding 4K60P 4:2:2 10-bit HDR image quality, it offers broadcasters highly advantageous features such as Dual Pixel AF with 'deep learning' auto focus, 12G-SDI connectivity, multiple protocols for streaming and control as well as region of interest crop capabilities.
4K Detail for Imaging Excellence
A 1.0"-Type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV7 processor deliver 4K UHD 60p imagery up to 4:2:2 10-bit 12G-SDI and HDMI for broadcast-standard image quality plus 4K60p over IP.
Stunning Optical Precision
The CR-N700's high-performance lens has a 15x optical zoom (25.5mm-382.5mm, 35mm equivalent) plus a 30x Advanced Zoom when shooting in Full HD. When conditions are unstable, Canon's renowned Optical Image Stabilization allows you to still capture steady footage.
Award-Winning Autofocus Technology
Fast, intelligent, and extremely accurtae focusing via multiple modes thanks to Canon's proprietary Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology with advanced EOS iTR AF X.
Autofocus Capabilities
EOS iTR AF X
Deep Learning autofocus technology locks on to a subject's head, even if they turn away.
Eye Detection
Detects and tracks the subject's pupil for precise focusing
Face Priority and Face Only
Face Priority AF priorities the subject's face, while Face Only AF responds when a face is detected.
Touch AF
Select your own focus point on the screen with the Remote Camera Control Application
Dual Pixel Focus Guide
A visual representation shows when the subject is in focus.
Multiple Protocols for Seamless Integration
The CR-N700 features SRT and NDIIHX protocols that help produce high quality video streams for broadcasters. RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP and Canon XC protocol are also included, as well as FreeD for integration into virtual productions.
Comprehensive Connectivity
Connect flexibly with 12G-SDI, HDMI, or IP (PoE++) all supporting 4K60p, as well as professional dual XLR audio inputs. The CR-N700 also includes 3G-SDI, Timecode and GEN-LOCK.
Powerful HDR Imagery and Low Light Capture
Achieve stunning HDR imagery with direct recording into either PQ or HLG formats. A range of custom picture settings includes Canon Log 3 and Wide Dynamic Range to match other Canon cameras' look.
Smooth and Precise Control
The CR-N700 has a high-precision drive mechanism for fine Pan and Tilt movement as slow as 0.1°/s. Compatible with the RC-IP100 controller and Remote Camera Control Application controllers, it can also be configured with selected third-party controllers.
Crop Function - Single Camera, Two Video Feeds
Select and extract a point of interest via a separate feed. The chosen area can then be output as a main or secondary signal and up to two cropped areas can be set in FHD.
Night Mode
Capture footage in near-darkness thanks to IR Mode, which extends the spectrum visible to the camera.
Add-On Applications
The Add-On Application System will enable the installation of paid applications directly onto the camera. These applications can then be run without the need for a computer, simplifying operations and set-up.
The Auto Tracking Application enables the camera to automatically track the speaker or other specified persons during commercial presentations, lectures and other events. With visual analysis performed in-camera, the system achieves excellent tracking capability. Additionally, it can frame a person in the shot, aided by its high-performance pan/tilt mechanism and the automatic tracking application, while smoothly capturing movements of people with satisfying quality for video production.
The Auto Loop Application empowers the camera to automatically repeat pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) staging movements ordinarily performed by camera operators during the broadcast of events, as well as in the production of TV commercials and movies. What's more, "fade mode" adjusts the acceleration and deceleration of the camera motions as the motion begins and end, enabling the automated camera system to mimic professional camerawork.
