OVERVIEW

The Sony SRG-120DU USB 3.0 Full HD PTZ Camera adds a dedicated, remotely controlled PTZ webcam to your Windows-based computer system for streaming and recording. Through the USB 3.0 interface, the SRG-120DU connects straight to a conventional Windows PC, letting you to connect with streaming applications, video switches, and other network devices. This all-in-one compact and lightweight camera is simple to install and transforms any boardroom, classroom, courtroom, or medical facility into a professional video collaboration environment.

The camera has a 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS sensor that can capture video qualities up to 1080p60 and uses Sony's View-DR technology to compensate for backlight or changing light conditions. The lens has a 12x optical zoom and an additional 12x digital zoom, with manual or autofocus to keep your photographs sharp across the zoom range.

The SRG-120DU also has quick and silent pan/tilt/zoom capabilities that can be controlled through VISCA-over-USB or UVC over a USB 3.0 connection, VISCA-over-IP via an IP connection, or RS-232C serial connections utilizing the VISCA protocol. It is compatible with Sony PTZ camera IP remote controllers such as the RM-IP10 and RM-IP500. Its low-noise drive motor enables it to be used in noisy areas such as hospitals, classrooms, and meeting rooms. It can hold up to 16 settings when utilizing the VISCA protocol, and up to six presets when using the bundled IR remote control. The camera comes with a power adaptor.

Full HD Image Quality

The 1/2.8" type Exmor CMOS sensor captures smooth, crisp detailed, Full HD images with extremely low noise, even in low lighting conditions where other cameras may struggle. With it's high frame rate (60fps) operation ensures smoother, more fluid reproduction of movement within the frame.

USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Connection

The inclusion of the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface allows for high-speed data transfer of uncompressed 1080p60 video to a connected Windows computer that supports USB 3.0 devices. USB 3.0 Plug-and-Play allows you to use a standard UVC driver with no need to install any other drivers.

Wide Field of View

Easily get everything in frame at one time with the varying 3.9° to 46.8° Field of View. Allowing you to see every conference participant in a cramped meeting room.

16 Programmable Presets

The SRG-120DU includes up to 16 presents (controllable via VISCA) to allow for quick transitions from one camera position to another, and 6 presets can be accessed using the supplied IR remote commander.

Clear Images in Any Lighting Condition

With Sony's View-DR Technology, it allows you an expansion of the dynamic range for clear images under harsh backlighting with extremes of light and dark in the same scene. XDNR technology reduces image noise for a crisp reproduction of still and moving objects in poorly illuminated rooms.

Powerful 12x Optical and Digital Zoom

The 12x optical zoom range is complemented by 12x digital zoom (total 144x High-Power Zoom), for frame-filling close-ups with every detail seen clearly. Responsive autofocus ensures that the images will stay clear and sharp - even at high zoom settings.

Fast, Quiet PTZ Operation

The camera has a quick silt pan, tilt, and zoom capability that makes it ideal for meeting rooms, classrooms, and other noise-limited environments.

Single Cable Connection

The SRG-120DU can be controlled from a connected Windows Computer, with support for UVC Control via USB and VISCA over USB, as well as VISCA over IP and RS-232C. The camera is also compatible with the Sony RM-IP10 Remote Controller, enabling comfortable pan, tilt, and zoom operation using the 3-axis joystick.
