Where do I turn off EXIF auto-rotation on a Nikon D7000?

On older Nikon DSLRs like the D70, there was an option to stop the camera from writing orientation/rotation information into the image metadata. I can't find that setting on the Nikon D7000. Does the D7000 still have it, and if so, where is it in the menu?

It is there, in the Setup menu (the one with the wrench/spanner icon). It's called Auto Image Rotation, and it comes between 'Image Content' and 'Image Dust Off ref photo'.

Yes. On the Nikon D7000, the setting is still available in the Setup menu (wrench/spanner icon) as Auto Image Rotation. Turn that option off to stop the camera from writing orientation information into the image metadata. In the menu, it appears between Image Comment and Image Dust Off Ref Photo.
