Our winner selects $2,000 worth of Sony Electronics imaging gear — any product, their choice, up to the prize's estimated retail value (ERV).
Their winning shot gets featured in-store, on our website, and across Instagram and X with #SonyPhotoContest, tagged to @UniquePhoto, @SonyAlpha, and @SonyElectronics — for up to four weeks.

How to submit

Shoot your photo on a Sony camera during the promotion period, June 15 – August 28, 2026.

Export as JPEG or TIFF with EXIF data intact. No watermarks or signatures.

Pick your theme — portrait, landscape, wildlife, or street — from the categories above.

Use the Submit Entry button for your desired theme. Follow the form iunstructions to upload your photo.

That's it — up to one entry per theme, four total. Our panel takes it from there.
Contest rules
Who can enter
18+ (19+ in AL, NE), legal U.S. residents only (excludes territories). Unique Photo and Sony employees and affiliates are not eligible.
Camera & file
Must be shot on a Sony camera with EXIF data intact. Upload as JPEG or TIFF, resized under 8MB per photo.
Original work only
Your own photo, captured during the contest window. Basic corrections only — no AI generation, heavy editing, or watermarks. Disqualified otherwise.
One entry per theme
Up to 4 total submissions — one per theme. Each must be unique and never entered elsewhere.
Judging criteria
A three-person panel scores every eligible entry. Decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
Impact
Does it grab attention immediately, with a clear subject or moment?
Technical quality
Sharpness, exposure, and lighting — precision in execution.
Creativity
Original thought — unique, distinctive, unmistakably yours.
