OVERVIEW

The Zeiss Milvus 21mm f/2.8 ZF.2 Lens features an optical design, which provides high color fidelity & sharpness in your images. This wide-angle prime lens is designed for Nikon F-mount cameras, but can also be used with DX models where a 31.5mm equivalent focal length is provided. Its bright f/2.8 maximum aperture makes it suitable for available-light conditions, as well as astrophotography applications. A distagon concept, as well as a floating elements system, are included to provide consistent performance throughout the focusing range (from 8.7" to infinity). Five anomalous, partial dispersion elements are also included to control chromatic aberrations, increasing clarity & color accuracy in your images. An enhanced ZEISS T* anti-reflective coating is applied to minimize flare & ghosting, while also benefiting working in difficult lighting conditions.

The manual focus design works with its rubberized focus ring, providing fine-tuned control over focusing performance. It enables focusing & depth of field scales, as well as hard stops at infinity, & minimum focusing distances. The manual aperture ring features clicked indicators throughout the aperture range, & an included De-Click Tool allows this ring to be mechanically 'de-clicked' for smooth & silent rotation throughout the aperture range, making it ideal for video use. Milvus-series lenses also feature a frosted,  anodized surface for durability, as well as a weather-sealed construction to protect against dust & moisture.
