The lens comes with a Sonnar optical design that incorporates 3 anomalous partial dispersion elements to correct chromatic aberrations and color fringing. With the Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating, light transmission is improved when working in bright conditions. The lens has a manual focus design that enables you to reach a minimum focusing distance of 80 cm. You can de-click the aperture ring to get a smooth noise-less operation during video capture. Attach this lens to an electronic interface to fetch all the EXIF data to the camera. You can also use the camera's focusing magnification with the focus ring. The weather-resistant gasket offers protection from moisture and dust.
