The Tamron 24–70mm f/2.8 Di VC SP USD Lens makes capturing images of vast landscapes and well-defined portrait shots quite simple. Designed for Canon EF-mount cameras, the lens features an optical design that comprises 17 elements in 12 groups. Of these elements, three are low-dispersion, three are glass-molded aspherical, one is a hybrid aspherical, and two are extra-refractive-index. The Ultrasonic Silent Drive motor ensures fast and accurate focusing with near silence. Thanks to the nine-blade diaphragm, you get smooth, round bokeh effects in the blurred image background. The vibration compensation image stabilization system in the lens helps reduce instances of camera movements, especially when shooting handheld. Lastly, this lens is moisture-resistant, in that, you can use it in almost any weather condition.
