It comes with a UMC coating that suppresses lens flare and ghosting, as well as improves light transmission for those contrast-rich, color-neutral images. Use the single aspherical element and two high refractive index elements for reducing chromatic aberrations to produce ample sharpness and clarity. The lens' maximum aperture comes in handy for working in low-light conditions and providing control over the focus placement for those shallow depth-of-field applications.
