It features an inbuilt autofocus motor that focuses each lens via a mechanical screw, thus letting you focus on the intended subject automatically, with amazing precision. The camera’s automatic shutter speed ranges between 16 seconds and 1/6,000th of a second. Use the hot shoe on the top for mounting an optional flash for taking bright pictures, even in low-light areas. This camera is made from a high-quality titanium alloy, which makes it sturdy. Powering this camera are two CR2 3 V Lithium batteries.

Optics and Focus

The Contax G2 is equipped with a Zeiss Biogon 28 mm f/2.8 T* lens, which is made of 8 elements in 6 groups and features a 10-blade diaphragm for producing an astounding background bokeh. This Leica M-mount lens offers a minimum focus distance of 0.5 m, and uses 46 mm filter threads. The diagonal, horizontal, and vertical viewing angles stand at 75°, 65°, and 46°, respectively. Use the built-in autofocus motor that focuses each lens through a mechanical screw, for accurate focus on a subject. Sensor and Screen
