overview
The Sigma 24–35mm T2.2 FF Zoom Lens makes stunning wide-angle and close-up shots with your Canon EF-mount cameras. It covers the image circle of a Super 35mm-size sensor. The lens offers manual control over the focus, zoom, and iris with the dedicated rings. There are Metric units scales printed on both sides for the focus and focal length. You can rotate the focus and zoom dials up to 180° and 160° respectively to make adjustments at long distances. The clickless iris ring maintains a noiseless functionality for up to 60°. All control rings have integrated dampeners that soften the metallic noise when you turn them till the end. The 9-blade diaphragm produces smooth bokeh in the out-of-focus background. Also, the maximum aperture of T2.2 enables you to use fast shutter speeds or low ISO in low light. The cine-standard 0.8 module gear pitch makes the lens compatible with different accessories intended for professional filmmaking. You may attach matte boxes to the lens as it comes with a 95mm front diameter. A circular filter can be fixed to the 82mm front thread. This Sigma cine lens boasts an all-metal body that has dust- and splash-proof sealing.
