overview
The Sigma 20mm T1.5 FF High-Speed Prime Lens makes full use of the video capture abilities of Sony E-mount cameras. Its image circle covers the Super 35mm-size sensors comfortably. The lens offers complete control over the focus and iris with the dedicated rings. These rings have an ergonomic placement to give you tactile control over the image look. The scale markings are in feet for the focus and T-stop values. You have control over the focus ring up to 180°. The click less iris ring offers a smooth functionality up to 60°. All these rings have integrated dampeners that soften the noise when they reach the end. The 9-blade diaphragm provides pleasant bokeh in the out-of-focus background. With the T1.5 aperture opening, you can use fast shutter speeds or low ISO to get high-quality results in dim light. The cine-standard 0.8 module gear pitch accepts various accessories that are meant for professional filmmaking. You may fix industry-standard matte boxes to the 95mm diameter front. The all-metal body with dust- and splash-proof sealing makes the lens withstand the rough treatment in any conditions.
