The lens comprises of three Fluorite Low Dispersion (FLD), three Special Low Dispersion (SLD), and three aspherical elements that minimize color fringing and chromatic aberrations for better image quality. Contrast-rich and color-neutral visuals can be created even in backlit conditions, thanks to its Super Multi-Layer Coating. You can also achieve a smoothly rounded bokeh with the nine-blade diaphragm. The integrated Hyper Sonic Motor ensures quiet and high-speed autofocusing that permits full-time manual focusing control. The durable brass bayonet mount protects and keeps the lens clear of water and dust.
