Use your Peak Design Pro, Pro Tall, or Pro Lite Tripod legs with your own 3rd party tripod head and quickly level it on uneven terrain without the need to adjust your legs. Enjoy the specialized functionality of your 3rd party head, and do it with the unbeatable portability, stability, and ease-of-setup of Peak Design's game-changing tripod leg architecture. Ideal for creatives who prefer to shoot with their own pro video head, gimbal head, geared/3-way head, and more. Installing the Pro Leveling Base is quick and easy-for a tool-less install, simply remove the Pro Ball Head and center column, and insert the Pro Leveling Base. If you wish to use the center column, remove the Pro Ball Head with a single hex screw, and install the Pro Leveling Base in its place with the same screw using the tool that comes with our tripod. Then install your 3rd party head onto the 3/8" mount. Provides +/-20 degrees of leveling adjustment in all directions.
Pro Leveling Base works exclusively with the Peak Design Pro, Pro Tall, and Pro Lite Tripods. Not designed for use with Travel Tripod or 3rd party tripods.
