OVERVIEW
Offering fast, accurate phase hybrid autofocus, the LUMIX S5II mirrorless camera is designed to deliver excellent performance in both photo and video. The 24.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor complies with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus) with 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 image stabilization and an imaging engine that's been developed to achieve high resolution, natural description, and approximately 2 x higher-speed signal procession for high bit-rate video recording. With the high dynamic range and broad colors of a 14+ stop V-Log/V-Gamut capture, and an advanced heat dispersion mechanism for unlimited video recording and livestreaming, the S5II is developed to meet the demands of ambitious creators with an assertive shooting style.
24.2-Megapixel 35mm Full-Frame CMOS Sensor: Developed to achieve high resolution, natural description, and approximately 2x higher-speed signal processing, powered by L² Technology
Fast, Accurate Phase Hybrid Autofocus: Advanced subject detection and metering technologies capture the target subject in focus even in adverse lighting conditions; once locked on the subject, it keeps tracking even with multiple moving objects
Powerful Image Stabilization: LUMIX newly developed Active I.S., which supports walking shots, to further enhance image stabilization in video recording
Expressive Video Functionality: 14+ stop V-Log/V-Gamut capture delivers a high dynamic range and broad colors, plus a REAL TIME LUT function is provided to enable in-camera photo and video color grading, with LUT6K 30p Open Gate unlimited recording
Unlimited Video Recording: Heat dispersion mechanism combines a small fan and high-efficiency heat sink to achieve unlimited video recording while keeping the camera size compact
