Compared to conventional macro lenses, the LUMIX S 100mm F2.8 MACRO is approximately two-thirds shorter and half the weight. Weighing a total of just 2.2lb when combined with the LUMIX S5II, the compact and lightweight system can be used with one hand.

The center of gravity is aligned closely, allowing for smooth lens changes when shooting video using a gimbal or drone. In addition, the image rendering performance is also identical, allowing smooth post-production.
