Advanced Image Quality
At the heart of the OM-5 Mark II is a 20.4-megapixel Live MOS Micro Four Thirds sensor, delivering impressive detail, dynamic range, and color reproduction. The camera supports a native ISO range of 200–6400 (expandable to 64–25600), ensuring clean images even in low-light conditions. The TruePic IX image processor enables fast performance and access to advanced features, including Handheld High Res Shot (50MP) and Tripod High Res Shot (80MP), for ultra-high-resolution images without the need for a medium format camera.
5-Axis Sensor-Shift Image Stabilization
The OM-5 Mark II incorporates a state-of-the-art 5-axis sensor-shift stabilization system, providing up to 6.5 stops of compensation. This allows for blur-free handheld shooting, even at slower shutter speeds, and smooth video recording without the need for a gimbal. Sync IS is available with compatible Olympus/OM System lenses, further enhancing stabilization performance.
Speed & Autofocus
Capture fast-moving subjects with up to 30 frames per second in silent sequential shooting mode, or up to 6 fps with the mechanical shutter. The advanced autofocus system features 121 cross-type phase detection and 121 contrast detection points, supporting Face/Eye Detection AF and subject tracking for both stills and video. Customizable AF area selection and advanced focus bracketing/stacking modes make the OM-5 Mark II ideal for macro, wildlife, and action photography.
Professional Video Capabilities
Videographers will appreciate the OM-5 Mark II's MOV (MPEG-4AVC/H.264) recording at up to C4K (4096x2160) 24p/240Mbps, 4K (3840x2160) 30p/105Mbps, and Full HD at up to 120 fps for slow-motion effects. Advanced video features include OM-Log400, Flat, and Cinema picture profiles, Focus Peaking, Time Code support, vertical video, and clean HDMI output.
