The Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC G2 for Nikon F-Mount is characterized by a fast focusing speed & image stabilization, while its standard zoom covers a versatile wide-angle to portrait-length range. Its optical design features two extra refractive elements, three low dispersion elements, three glass-molded aspherical elements, & one hybrid aspherical element, which helps to suppress distortion and aberrations throughout the zoom range. The SP 24-70mm is designed with eBAND and BBAR coatings, which have been applied to elements, to control lens flaring & ghosting for improved contrast & color fidelity. Also included is a USM autofocus motor, which delivers a quick, quiet, and precise focusing performance for both images & videos. Its 5-stop-effective Vibration Compensation feature helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharp handheld shooting in difficult lighting conditions. The SP 24-70mm is moisture-resistant & has a fluorine coating to allow its use in trying environmental conditions.
